Teeth was an art study on well... teeth, I really enjoyed the simple repetitive action of drawing and painting teeth. When I was going through the process of what I wanted my composition to be, the main problem I wanted to solve was how can I add as much teeth as possible but it still be a uniform design. I decided for the painting to be a never ending field of mouths, and I really wanted to feel like weather you zoom in or out of the piece there would be more and more mouths giving it a lot of movement. I used a lot of pinks and maroons to give it depth as well as to highlight the shape of the gums, when the shadows and highlights I feel not only did it contribute to the depth but also it made the mouths feel wet like they were actually producing saliva.
